Koeteow Kerang Iman

Aku x penah eja kuey teow camni, tapi sebab kedai nie letak die nye signboard camni so ikut je la kan. Kedai die, kannye kedai aku pon.

I was my first introduced to koeteow kerang iman nie masa majlis bertandang ke rumah pengantin lelaki waaaaayyyyy baaaccckkk in July 2008. Tengah hari tu kenduri and malam tu En Husband bawak me, parents and adek bradik sme dinner kat cni. Marvellous and fabulous koeteow die.

Seperti dalam gambar di atas tuh, ader dua kedai in the same row that bears the signboard Koeteow Iman. Walaupon ader dua kedai, tp sebenarnye…jeng…jeng…jeng…

…semua customer either makan kat luar or dekat kaki lima kedai tu, as seen dlm gambar directly atas ayat nie. Walaupon mase tu like baru je waktu derang bukak kedai, tapi dah ramai orang dah…

Tukang masak die pon masak kat luar. hehehe~ panas kot kalau masak kat dalam. 

In total, aku penah makan kat sini sebanyak 3 kali. First, seperti yang telah diceritakan diatas. Second, masa lepak ngn Abshar. Third time ialah mase gambar nie diambil. Mase nie tapau je and mase nie jugak la the first time aku pegi mase waktu siang around pkol 6.30 pm rasenye. En Husband kate kedai nie bukak like around 5.00 pm and sampai la ke malam2 hari.

Menu aku kt kedai nie either koeteow udang telor atas or koeteow kerang telor atas (walaupon aku x ske kerang, tp aku ske koeteow kerang, tp kerang tu aku tak makan la letak tepi je). Ader macam-macam menu keoteow ader kat sini. Tak caye?? See below. Harga pon ader disitu so boleh la bajet brape ringgit nak bawak. So nnti takde lah x cukup duit. Aku rase kedai nie x terima credit card.

Kalau tetiba korang teringin nak makan Koeteow Kerang Iman nie siler lah ke Alor Star, Kedah. Aku bace blog orang laen derang kate kedai nie terletak kt Jalan Sultanah (aku x tau kedai nie kat mane sbb selama nie husband je yang bawak)

Oh, by the way aku rase koeteow iman nie best eaten kt kedai die je, kalau tapau die ader rase sket off (maybe sbb dah sejuk kot).

Duit itu macam…

…kentut. sori kalau korang rase macam x senonoh giler, tp mmg btol pon. Sebab walaupon ader byk duit, tp biler dah start belanje laju je abess. Kadang2 ader la bau yang linger for a while, kadang2 bau pon xde.

Alhamdulillah, since March 2007 aku dah dapat keje and bulan2 dapat lah gaji sendiri. Tapi bapak payah giler nak save duet2 nie sbb every once in a while ader je mende besar yg berlaku yg kna nak kuar duet banyak. Inilah milestone2 yang membuatkan duitku kuar secara besar2an…

2007 March	: Start keje!! (tp x bermaksud start dibayar)
2007 May	: Paycheck yang pertama!!
2007 Oct	: Engagement. Ye, kenduri-kendara nie mmg banyak pakai duit. Walaupon ibu ayah xdelah minta duit aku, tp kalau dah keje takkan tannak hulur2kan sedikit sebanyak kat derang. Dah la majlis sendiri. (kalau x hulur2 tu seres aku cakap x tau malu btol)
2008 July	: Gap almost setahun, tapi kenduri kahwin lagi la besar cost nye. Plus the honeymoon. Travelling will continue to be my biggest spendings.
2009 February	: Process membeli rumah. Downpayment + segala bagai lawyer fees itu telah menjangkau over RM10 k. Sekian (sebbaek share ngn husband dan juga tq ayah kerana telah membantu sket…haha~) siler lah amek tau walaupon loan umah anda ialah 100%, tp duet anda yg perlu kuar pon agak byk jugak…
2009 February	: In the same month, kami telah pegi ke Melbourne. Between us, we spent about Rm 7k, excluding ticket plane (sbb redeem points)
2009 April	: Dalam kesesakan, aku still beli laptop baru (kesian en husband aku asyik usung die nye lappie je biler pegi travel). Sbb xde cash, aku amik easy payment scheme yg 12 months tu. Alhamdulillah dah settle.
2009 December	: In the height of planning for our next big trip, aku pegi beli handphone idaman (apparently, yg chose to go bonkers already!!)
2010 May	: US Trip. Saving for this trip start from balek dari Melbourne. I really2 like travelling tapi costnye mmg menggunung. (ader hati lagi nak pegi KK, pastu Singapore, pastu Turki, in that order..hoho~)
2010 July	: Baru sejenak lega bernafas and tot can finally start saving BIG, datanglah sepucuk surat yang kate rumah kami dah siap. Alhamdulillah. Problem is, aku ngn husband nie X PERNAH dok umah sewa ke ape, so mmg TV sendiri pon xde. So, paham2 lah…
2011 Early	: InsyaAllah, en/cik muffin that is baking inside me akan lihat the world for the first time around this time. Those cute mittens, bottles, strollers and segala bagai dont exactly come free :)

Dan in between all these ader la gatal2 pegi capai baju-bajan (erk??), kasut2 and handbag. Kelemahan aku nie ialah kalau dah suke mmg aku x peduli harga. Tp nie salah sendiri. Yang list kt atas tu like almost keperluan, except travelling2 tu la kot, but all those travelling open your eyes to the world. Hah, alasan, tp kami ader alasan yg kukuh utk travel :)

Tapi sempat la jugak setiap bulan tu, duit gaji tu barang seposen dua aku dah asingkan siap2 masuk dlm saving and insurance (ini pesan ibu)

Mama pon pesan jugak, rajin2lah duit tu derma kat orang, tak yah nak kedekut and berkira2 sgt. Die kate ikut pengalaman die lah, kalau buat camni insyaAllah biler sesak2 nnti, ader la source2 duit tu tetiba je datang kat kite (bonus ke, hutang lama baru org nak bayar ke, tax return ke). Camtu la.

Ibu pesan lagi, dapat gaji jangan luper bagi kat parents walaupon parents tu bekerja and x nak pon duit korang tu. Point is, alah bisa tegal biasa. Biler dah biasa bagi, akan terus bagi. X kan nak jadi cam dalam news tu sampai parents nak sue anak die sbb tak bagi duit walhal parents die tolong jaga anak die lagi tu.

As always, pesan ayah paling bess. Kalau ada duit beli, kalau xde buat bodoh (buat bodoh ialah xyah beli langsung, bukannye pegi buat credit card baru)

Ibu used to say “Duit tu macam air”, but kentut brings the point home (better, I think).

Betulkan Jam Anda

Ader orang suke cepatkan jam 5 mins la, 10 mins la. Kalau kat umah ibu, xde satu pon jam yang waktu die same kot. I think ini ialah dgn harapan sme org akan siap nak pegi mana2 (skolah ke, kenduri ke) cepat sket sbb sebenarnye tak tau exactly pkol berape.

So kalau korang nak tau sebenarnye kt Malaysia nie skrang pkol brape, silerlah ke website SIRIM Malaysian Standard Time.

Kat situ die tunjuk la pkol berape skrang and berape accuracy die :) hehe~

Biler aku teringat, aku calibrate la jam kt PC tu to reflect Malaysian Standard Time. Tgklah kat dlm gambar diatas tu, same kan?? :)

pastu saye selongkar laci sendiri and organize sket document2 tu. dah berzaman2 tak buat.

pastu saye pegi makan buah (opis saye tiap2 hari bekerja around 10.30pm ader buah)

pastu saye pg turun ke parking mgmt office utk mintak season parking. dah dua minggu kot husband soh pegi tanye. ader stock tp saye takde cash la plak, so dtg balik esok. ohh…saye tak based in KLCC, parking kt building saye keje nie slalunye available. Kalau waiting list pon ader harapan. KLCC parking kalau saye letak nama skrang, saye pencen blom tentu lg dapat season parking kot (rumor has it that KLCC Parking mgmt tak bagi letak name kat waiting list pon sbb dah panjang sgt kot)

in between all these, saya balas e-mail and hantar e-mail ape2 yg patut. Tak baek buat org tertunggu2 :) hehe~

Nenek and Me…

Nenek sleepover kat umah my parents last week sbb die tengah redo lantai kat umah die.

Aku baru balik keje masa tu, and skali nampak nenek ader kat dapur. I was like, ehh…nenek ader kat cni. Aku pon pg lah salam nenek and soh husband pg jumpe nenek skali. Pastu aku pegi lah tolong ibu kt dapur. Sambil2 tu en husband borak2 lah ngn nenek.

Like 5 mins after that aku pon jenguk la ape la yg husband borakkan ngn nenek tuh. Skali mase aku jenguk je, husband aku baru je blah dr duduk with nenek and nenek pon cakap la to me…

Nenek : Buatlah air utk faiz tu, die baru je balik keje…

Me       : (In auto response mode) Saye pon baru balik keje nek.

Ngeh. Aku mmg mcm tu. Dlm kepala aku ader lg mcm2 response (one of them includes takde sape pon buat air utk saye). Tapi seb baek simpan je that thought dlm kepala.

Truth is, I see it this way, I just got back from work, he just got back from work, kalau nak air marilah kite buat same2 and minum same2.

Nenek came from the ice age where women stayed home and men worked. So fair la kalau en husband balik nak hidang air ke ape.

And the reality is that Ibu dah siap buat hot tea pon. Hah~

Flabby Arms No More

Size 25 pants, check. Size S tops, check. Oops, tp ader masalah sket lah with my size S tops tu, sbb slalu ketat kat lengan. I dont know why, tp kalau badan aku naek sket, mesti kt lengan yg naek dulu.

Skali tadi mase tgh surfing on Shine from Yahoo! (aku subscribe to this site sbb byk sgt mende yg menarik minat aku) skali jumpe plak video nie, 5 tips to celebrity arms.

One of the reason aku letak video nie kat sini, sbb aku berusaha nak cube have more toned and scupltured arms without the bulky factor. For a while now, aku ader gak terpk2 bwk dumbbell pg office. Hahaha~ bersemangat x??

I’m wishing myself good luck utk try exercise nie and kalau ader results nnti aku share. Kalau xde, I sit quiet2 la ek. Hahhaa~ Sape2 nak try pon siler lah. Nnti bley la kite sharing2.

2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta

We missed the first one last year, so this year mase first2 iklan die kuar in January, aku dah soh husband letak reminder dalam handphone so that kitorg tak lupe. Actually, terlupe jugak sampai la ternampak iklan die again earlier this week.

The 2nd Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is from 18 March – 21 March 2010 at Precint 2, Putrajaya. Kalau nak tau kat mane, nie kat area government offices tu, and as of petang tadi mmg la sgt teruk traffic nye and tersangat ramailah orang disitu.

 Ramai ke tak orang?

Kitorang (husband, myself and nur) bertolak dari Kajang around 5.10 pm camtu la, sampai kt precint tu siap ngn parking keta skali pkol 6.00 pm tau! Sgt la tak tau nak parking kat mane, at least they allow to park at road side to takde la susah sgt nak park.

Mase otw, a friend of mine, si Jie tu, message and bgtau die baru je blah dari tgk belon nie and ckp sgt lah ramai orang and mase die nak blah tu baru ader satu je belon tu pon baru je nak naek. Luckily, when we were there all the balloons dah start berterbangan. I was like soo excited, x tau cane nak kate. So, dapatlah amek gambar2 hot air balloon yg tgh terbang and baru nak naik.

 

So, to those yg plan nak pegi esok, either pegi early in the morning around 8.00 am or in the afternoon around 5.30pm. Kalau lambat sgt nnti takde balloon nak tgk plak, kalau pegi tgh hari balloon tu dok kt darat je plak. Anyway, ape2 pon check their official website first. Tp kalau datang xde balloon, ader banyak activity laen and ader booth utk dilawati (but then, org pegi nak tgk hot air balloon la kot, kalau stakat nak pg booth2 je, kat aku nye convo dulu pon ader byk booth).

To mereka yg ske amek gambar plak, mmg sgt bess nak amek pics kot. Siler lah bwk kamera2 besar anda itu :). My pics above amek pakai camera hp Sony Ericsson C903 5 megapixel aku je. Ehe~

Insyaallah, esok pegi Pesta Buku kat PWTC plak.

Latest Addition To My Collection

Disclaimer sket. Mmg my collection buku2 fiction sgt besar and always bertambah-tambah, tp I buy because I enjoy reading bukannye sbb saje2 nak buat collection. Hahaha~

So, last month mase cuti CNY, husband and me telah decide utk balek ke alor star. So, as most of you already know, Alor Star nie mcm agak jauh jugak la dari KL. At least 5 hours. So, sbb aku nie mmg x ske kalau x tau ape nak buat, so I paid a visit to Kinokuniya the afternoon before kami berangkat so that dlm perjalanan ke Kedah nnti ader la buku nak bace. Turns out that sampai hari nie pon x abess2 lagi baca.  Ehe~ Btw, kalau korg keje kat tmpt aku keje, Kinokuniya KLCC nie la tmpt yg paling convenient nak beli buku :)

So hasil nye ialah…

Nanny Returns!! Sambungan kepada The Nanny Diaries yg telah dipublish quite a few years back. The Nanny Diaries jugak telah diturn into a movie of the same name starring the beautiful Scarlett Johanssen. But as always is the case, buku is definitely better than the movie.

But in the book buying madness, I’ve overlooked and it turned out that…

Ngeh!! buku tu rosak la plak. Drama queen sket. Actually, aku x kesah pon. Buku kalau lagi buruk ngn lunyai lagi I appreciate. Seriously, tak taulah knape perasaan aku camtu.

I also bought the book by Daniyal Mueenuddin entitled “In Other Rooms, Other Wonders” Yang nie blom bace lagi sbb skrang still tgh baca Nanny Returns.

p/a: Sejak-dua menjak dah in the mid twenties nie, speed membaca pon dah semakin slow. When I was a teenager, it’s typical for me to read a book overnight. And I dont speed read. Like ever! Biler I read a book overnight it means slalunye mmg x tido pon malam tu…

2.05 in 2015

Aku nie jarang baca paper or tgk news. Tp of all days, hari2 yg aku terdengar berita kt radio or terbaca newspaper la ader news that caught my attention.

I first heard about this kt radio pagi tadi. Derang soh caller call bagi pendapat on this issue. And I read it biler petang tadi, kt tmpt aku tapau tom yam, aku baca newspaper umum yg kedai tu letak je utk bacaan customer.

The news is “Kadar Kesuburan Wanita Malaysia Dijangka Turun 2015” Ehh…what. Bukannye malaysian woman nie makin tak sihat and cannot have babies or something like that. Apparently, Malaysian woman chose not to have kids. Yang kawen muda, anak x ramai sbb keje. Yang dok layan keje x ingat, kawen lambat and then umur x sesuai to have babies. And those women yang decide langsung tannak kawen for like EVER lagi. And ader lagi la macam2 sebab ini berlaku.

So kalau ikut this news, in 2015 kadar kesuburan wanita malaysia ialah 2.05. Meaning a malaysian lady, most probably akan ader 2 orang anak je. And technically, ini x menambahkan jumlah rakyat Malaysia sbb if a woman ada 2 org anak je, that means anak2 die hanya akan replace die and husband je bukannye tambah the number of Malaysian.

If you ask me, ye la, skrang sme org dapat blaja tinggi2. Pastu kalau dah blaja tinggi2, x kan nak dok umah je jd housewife. So mesti la nak keja. Biler dah keje, dapat gaji bess2, payah la jugak nak berhenti kot. Ehe~ bess woo dapat duet sendiri, kalau nak beli handbag Gucci pon xde sape nak marah kot. Ehe~

And if you ask me again, blaja tinggi2 mane pon and gaji menggunung mane pon takkan weekend nak dok opis. So, I think most people believe that having two kids is manageable, dgn the lifestyle and not having to miss out on having a family. Tp kalau aku, ader rezeki, I want more than 2 kids. Ye la, aku ader 4 adik and since kecik2 kitorg like satu geng. Tak yah pk2 jiran nak kawan ke x, nak maen ape2 pon cukup korum. Dah tua bangka skrang pon we still do lotsa things together (like shopping, tgk movie and mengarut. Kelas2 tuition free and session2 membuat project skolah utk adik2 jangan lah citer, lg banyak). And I dont want my kids to miss out on that. Because that is priceless, regardless of how much your earn per month.

Promote Blog Lagi Satu…

Ramai orang pon dah tau (sbb aku minah kecoh kot) that we’ve (we = husband + me) bought a house. Kami sangatlah excited about everything about the house especially bab2 menghias.

Sememangnye, for as long as i can remember, i love decorating. Kecik2 mase still share bilik ngn adik2 and mase tu still dok kt cheras, i start with decorating my desk. Pastu biler dah dapat bilik sendiri, lagi la menjadi2. Kt UTP pon same, mase tu tgh giler pink, so all pink la! Skrang dah ader permanent roommate (for life!), terpaksa tone down sket my taste because my permanent roommate is a “simplistic” person rupenye.

Encik permanent roommate plak, I seriously tak tau yg die into decorating at all. Ever since the first day I met him sampailer before kitorg beli rumah, there is no impression at all that he cared about decor. Skali tup tup aje, setelah confirm beli rumah and I started talking about decorating, byk betul idea die (yg bertentangan with my ideas). Haha~

Tapi, we have the same view on one thing. We’d like to SHARE! and document our ideas, journey, pokok2, kedai-kedai and barang-barang yg interesting that we stumbled upon in the course of making a once-random-just-a-house, our home.

Hello Body, I’m Bloating

Pagi selasa aku demam, pg doktor, and doctor tu pon bg la MC. Tgh hari tu baru la makan ubat sbb dah x tahan sgt demamnye (aku x ske makan ubat, selagi bley tahan, aku tahan).

Hari rabu, aku pg keje. Actually demam tak baek lagi tp giler bosan dok umah sorang2. Pagi2 lagi dah tak tahan demam tu, so makan ler ubat demam yg doktor bagi (actually panadol tp brand laen je). Tgh hari tu makan ubat lagi, dgn harapan demam tu akan baek terus la. Skali side effect ubat tu pon dtg la. Mulut rase payau giler pastu perut rase cam bloating and cam nak kna gastrik. Pkol 7 dah dinner sbb tak tahan giler tahap kemasukan angin ke dalam perut.

Hari nie, celik mata je seblom sempat my brain kicks in, perut telah sent a message, “Hello body, I’m bloating!!”

So, sambil siap2 nak pegi keje tu, aku pon devise a plan. Dah la secara natural nye, aku nie kna makan 3 meals a day (dlm amount yg small for most people), and slalunye i have something in between meals, nie hari perut terasa nak gastrik terlebey plak, so haruslah plan extra power sket!!!

Roughly, ape aku plan telah terlaksana. Inilah schedule pemakananku for today. Taraa…

6.58 am  : ERL sampai kat stesen Salak Tinggi. Duduk je dalam tren, aku makan pisang. Sorrylah kepada passenger laen, I cannot tahan.

8.10 am  : Sampai office dah siap beli bfast. Before pegi workstation, pegi pantry dulu, buat teh o panas (my fave!!) and makan nasik goreng and telur goreng (fave also!!)

12.00 noon  : Lunch & learn session. Pizza Papa John free!!! Aku makan 2 slices and minum teh tarik (dari mesin nestle kt pantri. Aku tak pandai buat teh tarik sbb tak elok minum susu pekat byk2, so I’m glad i don’t know how, kalau x cabaran nye besar sket)

2.30 pm: Makan lagi half a slice pizza, leftover from lunch.

5.30 pm  : Perut dah buat bunyi pelik2 lagi, dah la orang nak balik nie. Before die buat hal dalam tren, baek seround teh tarik lagi and biskut sultana selai. ahaha~

7.00 pm : Dinner trus kt KL Sentral. Perut ku content (for a few hours)

9.50 pm (now)  : Perut is way better that it was this morning, tp perut telah decide “Aku nak pisang lagi,”. Ha!!

Trun pegi dapur jap amek pisang.

Little MooMoo

In November, I introduced CekKu and CekPu. Now, let’s us welcome CekKu and CekPu little brother, MooMoo.

We named him MooMoo, sbb mase die baru lahir, die nye bulu nampak macam lembu, putih and tompok2 brown. Mase tu bulu die pon cam pendek je, so it looks like macam kulit die yg kaler putih ader tompok2. Biler dah besar, tompok2 tu pon cam jadi kuning2, orange camtu, but the name sticks anyway. Mata die sgt cantik, biru gitu.

Sangat ske maen and berlari2 oke!! sooo cute. And die ader abang2 yg ske main and jaga die. Sgt responsible.

MooMoo is cat number seven for our family. :)

Selangor Says NO to Plastic!!!

 

I know that it is like old news, but now every Saturday beginning Jan 2010, is no plastic bag day in Selangor (tolong jangan confuse kat mana Selangor and kt mana KL). Ader jugak shops kt KL yg implement this, mcm Cold Storage at KLCC yang telah declare bahawa their outlet will not give plastic bags on Thursday (kalau x salah) and Saturday (definitely) unless you want to pay 20 sen per plastic bag.

Actually, I was not aware at all pon about this, skali tu pg Jusco on 9 Jan 2010 (that happens to be a Saturday) skali nampak la poster di atas neh. I was so excited, cam wahhhh tak sangka ader campaign like this. Tapi sebab kitorg tak tau, so terpaksa la beli barang2 kat supermarket tu, letak sme dlm trolley and then bawak trolley pg kt parking, letak plak dlm keta cenggitu je. Selekeh giler.

The second time, we bring our own bag (actually pau ibu nye shopping bag, ehe~). So proudly masa bayar, aku letak all my purchase dlm bag sendiri. Kesian ader these guys ahead of us in the queue yg x bawak plastic bag sendiri, that day kalau korg tak bawak plastic bag, bayar 20 sen pon die x nak bagi. Unless, beli the supermarket nye shopping bag. This company cam cube buat extra profit la plak out of a good cause. Pastu guys nie dah la beli ikan sme, so cam yucks la plak kalau nak angkat takde plastic. So derang pon beli la.

So, to those in the know, after this kalau shopping kt Selangor on Saturday, bawak lah shopping bag sendiri ye. Yang baru tahu, well now you know :) Alahai, bawak je plastic bag bese banyak2, simpan dalam poket. Lagipon skrang nie byk kedai yg fancy2 bagi carrier bag yg cam kaen tu. That one is sooooo sesuai dan bley digunakan berulang kali.

Tapi aku rase hanye big shops and supermarket je yg buat kot. I think kedai mamak kat sungai kantan tu buat cam bese je. Hrmm…tp x tau la. Anyway, kalau ader shops tak implement pon, bawak je la shopping bag sendiri and letak sme kat dlm. Kalau lama2 terbiasa la. After all, practice makes perfect :)

b’yyu spa

On 31 December 2009 hari tu, myself and Miss Eil decided to treat ourselves to a spa day!! (actually, a 2 hours ++ spa je pon, xde la sampai sehari). We were introduced to b’yyu spa by our office mate, si Sarah itu. She was like, spa nie bess die ader cam longkang kecik2 and ader air. So, we all pon google la this place, called the place and set up an appointment for two.

b’yyu spa nie ader dua cawangan, satu kt Sri Hartamas and the other one at Shah Alam. Me and Eil went to the one kt Shah Alam (sbb Sarah pegi this one and die suggest yg nie la), and yang kat Shah Alam nie dipanggil Villamay.

We were both on leave on the 31 tu (ye lah, nak mengabesskan cuti, cuti yg seciput tu pon payah nak abess, siap carry forward lagi). Aku bertolak dari Kajang around pkol 10.40 am, pegi amik Miss Eil kt Wangsa Maju and then straight to Shah Alam. Our appointment was at 1.00 pm. Aku tak tau cane nak pg umah Eil, so die lukiskan lah map. Eil mmg ske lukis map kot, nie map yg kedua die lukiskan utk aku. Selain drpd itu aku slalu jugak nampak die lukis map utk org laen (dan dirinye sendiri). Ehe~

Kitorg sampai Shah Alam like 3 – 4 mins before 1.00 pm. Bapak jam hari tu!! Jangan tensi2, spa is supposed to be relaxing~

Sampai2 je, me and Eil was like wahhhhhh~ at the Villamay. Deco nye mmg sgt cantik and calming. The pics below are of the reception area

Sampai2 je, receptionist tu bg us a welcome drink (which is teh gandum), eil ske rasenye tp aku x ske sgt. After that, derang confirmkan treatment yg we wanted to do that day which is Body Scrub (RM 215) and Back Massage (RM 45). So total is RM 260 la, tp they have promotion which is 25% for all treatment so kitorg dapat la RM 195 per person. Ok lah tuh sbb aku and eil dah bajet maksimum RM 200 per person. Promotion nie sampai 3 Jan 2010 je sempena Y.E.S la kot.

We both chose avocado scrub for our Body Scrub Treatment and Eil pilih lavender oil utk massage, foot bath and flower bath while I picked citrus oil. Org tuh bgtau lavender ialah utk relaxing and most ppl pakai lavender akan tidur mase treatment while citrus ialah like menyegarkan (padahal bagus nye aku zzz mase treatment tu).

Aku and Eil both thought that we will be in the same room, rupenye tidak. Kami telah dibawa ke bilik yg berasingan. And I have this indonesian lady, called Ribut yg akan membuat treatment for me. Aku tanye die kenapa nama die Ribut, die cakap “Ya cik dira, nama saya agak pelik” or something like that. Eil lupe nak tanye nama org yg bg die treatment.

Treatment nye bermula dgn foot bath. Pastu steam bath (i’m not sure for how long, tp die kate kalau tak tahan bley kuar anytime but obviously aku tahan sbb cik Ribut yg panggil aku kuar, ehe~). After that die buat body scrub, pastu die soh shower bersihkan scrub tu, then die soh mandi bunga dlm tub and last2 die urut. Camnilah turutannye.

Inilah suasananye dalam treatment room tu. Mmg sgt bess sbb shower, bath sme ialah utk diri sendiri je tak yah share2. Sgt bess!

Villamay nie jugak ada surau which make it easy for org yg dtg jauh2 dr kajang cam aku nie nak solat. Takde lah pastu rushing2 nak singgah sumwhere utk solat.

Even deco dalam bathroom nye is to die for. Sgt cantik!

Pengalaman kami here mmg priceless. Service die best, treatment die lagi best and yg paling best is the environment. It relaxes you. It is a bit pricey, tp you definitely know and get what you are paying for.

Definitely going again (biler tu ialah biler ader duet yg terlebey2). Ehe~

There were many, many celebrations great and small to welcome the new year. Huh~ does it needs welcoming? Xyah celebrate ape2 pon, even kalau di halau2 pon tahun baru akan tetap akan datang secara naturally whether you like it or not and tak kire la kalendar ape yg korang guna utk menghitung hari.

But the new year is a good milestone to sit back and look back at who you were and who you have become. And for those yg actually ader resolutions, bley la tgk whether you have achieved your resolutions or not. Sape yg azam nye to quit smoking and does quit, tahniah. Sape yg target nak dapat dean list and dapat, tahniah juga. Nie contoh2 je, maybe resolutions korg lain kot.

Basically, I believe mende resolutions nie ialah us trying to be a better person and we are using the new year as a milestone. Ye lah, kalau kite buat azam like “ohh…in 7 months nak lose 7 kgs la!!” pastu in 7 months kite was like “ohhh….dah 7 bulan rupenye, x pasan pon, bertambah 7 kg ader la” kan baek kalau buat azam “by new year 2010, i’m losing 7 kgs!!!” gerenti tak miss nye la sbb sme org heboh and kecoh pasal tahun baru nie.

I quit doing new year resolutions since high school and what I do is that I do my best and work at making myself a better person everyday. Jadi lebey penyabar (ye, aku mmg x sabar) and kurang cranky (kalau lapar & ngantuk lagi xtra cranky), insyaAllah. Disebabkan I dont have resolutions, I have NADDIE MUST BUYS list instead!!! Nie stuff that I have to absolutely spend on that year whatever happens. Korg bley nampak list nie kat side bar at the left of this blog. So, memandangkan dah tahun baru 2010, let’s check out the NADDIE MUST BUYS  2009 list and see what has happened!!!

1. Laptop - xde preference lagi, nak yang colour2 la tapi. - beli sudaa!! Dell Studio 14" in Red, I named her Ms.Jolie (kna eja exactly camni tau!)

2. HP - impian adalah Sony Ericsson Experia X1, tp skrang seres aku dah malas nak layan. Tp kna beli gak, phone aku skrang nie dah outdated btol, i wanna surf the net with hp oke!! – akhirnye dah beli jugak, Sony Ericsson C903 in Glamour Red. I’ve been using the same hp for the last 5 years and skrang baru ader penggantinye. Ohhh tu pon susah nak decide tau sbb bukannye mudah untukku jatuh cinta (walaupon dgn handphone sahaja)

 

3. Pair of Eye-Glasses - kerana aku sudah semakin buta & silau. - doktor tak advise. die kate power sket sgt, kalau pakai spec nnti lg teruk. die kate kalau rase cam rabun2 sket tu pg rehatkan mata by napping for 10 mins atau tgk mende2 ijau~

4. Ganti tayar keta MyVi Gold itu yg supposed to expire by Sept 09. Ini bukan kemahuan tapi keperluan. Mau RM 1k abess tu - rupenye RM 850 sahaja termasuk alignment, ganti brake disk, etc, etc. Tu pon share half2 with hubby. Oke la tu~

Alhamdulillah, sme mende2 yg ditarget to spend on telah dibeli. List untuk year 2010 is coming soon, budget la byk mende2 utk masuk rumah baru (ye lah, selama nie tak penah dok umah sendiri, langsung takde barang sendiri) and perhaps a designer handbag (read Gucci yg aku nampak kt KLCC tu, leather in light brown)

With this I welcome 2010…
