Ganti Tayar Keta MyVi

Hari jumaat lepas, before balik Alor Star (kampung husband, i am a kajang bred through and through) I met ayah at his office. Die tanye "dah service keta", I said "dah", die tanye, "dah ganti tayar ke?", I said "Blom", die kate, "gantilah before balik alor star", I said, "mane sempat. kt alor star la orang ganti."

So, tgh hari ahad hari tu, pg ler bawak keta MyVi ku yg sudah almost 3-year old itu pg tukar tayar. Sejak dapat in September 2006, x penah tukar tayar lagi nie.

Nie lah tayar nye. Goodyear GT3 (kalau tak salahlah, me too lazy to check). Harganye RM 160 each (harga special utk loyal customer je..hehe~).

Skali biler org tu dah cabut all four tyres, die kate brake disc dah nipis la plak. So, ganti je la. Seperti yg bley dilihat on my "NADDIE MUST BUYS IN 2009", mengganti tayar nie dah termasuk dlm bajet tahunan ku. Aku pon telah membajet RM 1000 utk mende2 nie sme.

Sambil org tuh godek2 my MyVi, aku pon usha2 lah keta itu. Skali nampak punyelah byk small dents. ehehe~ sbbnye...hmm...sebabnye aku mmg malas nak layan luaran keta ini. Janji dlm bersih, engine baek punye, servis tak miss and bley bergerak dgn cemerlang, i dont mind :)

Last2 skali buat balancing & alignment. Pastu tauke tu pon kire la. Tambah special customer nye discount (nie kedai yg my abah mertua frequent, die la yg loyal customer tu, bukannye meself or hubby), dpt free gift and segala bagai yg diservice and ganti, total harga RM850. (actually RM855 tp jadi RM850, senang kira kan.)

Alhamdulillah, aku telah bajet lebey rupenye. Pastu husband kate die bayar half. Ohhh...lagi la marvellous. Duit lebey tu bley la dihalakan kearah lain (niat jahat: shopping complex, niat baik: account tabung haji)

p/s: about 10 mins lagi berbuka, selamat berbuka.

The Lawn - KLCC

Last Monday (mase tuh blom Ramadhan lagi oke), hubby and i pg makan kat The Lawn KLCC. Mulanye, ingat nak pg Secret Recipe, tp hari tu Secret Recipe is open for buying cakes for take-away only. As I feel like eating Spaghetti Carbonara, maka kami pon head to The Lawn (last2 aku tak makan spaghetti carbonara pon :p)

The Lawn is located at Second Floor, Ramlee Mall. Kalau nak senang, masuk KLCC kat ground floor tuh ikut pintu yg dekat ngn Louis Vuitton. Pastu naik escalator sampai second floor, The Lawn nie mmg btol2 depan escalator tuh. Kalau dari tempat lain, ialah seperti dalam map dibawah. The Lawn tu dekat star yg tersenyum.

 

Biler sampai and telah duduk, waitress tu pon amik lah order kami. Setelah amik order die pon letak la this thing atas our table (along with the bill). I think this is very cute and green.

Our orders are…

Spaghetti carbonara for husband (my apologies for the blurry pic)  and…

Salmon sandwich for me. I think nie la first time I ate salmon and baru lah aku tau rasenye ialah good la jugak. Rase cam ayam.

Harga for our meals nie? Sorry, I forgotten, lgpon husband yg blanje so lagi lah no reason for me to remember. Ohhh…masa nie kitorg minum air mineral je, so xde lah gambar because air mineral is so common.

p/s: lagi about 15 mins to berbuka. Selamat berbuka to all muslim friends.

I Loike to Shop!!!

My employer is sungguh baek hati because they allow us to go back at 4.00 pm in Ramadhan. KL nie kan very the heavy traffic you know. Kalau bulan ramadhan nie, stok2 sme org nak balik umah 5.00 pm on the dot, kalo balik pkol 5.00 pm tu mmg jam la. Balik pkol 4.00 pm ialah dgn syarat masuk keje an hour early or work through lunch. Camne company nak check? Sendiri mau amanah la~

So, sbb balik pkol 4.00 pm, I pon decided la utk pg shopping items yg telah dilistkan sejak about 2 weeks ago. Dan hari nie telah decide utk menggunakan CASH TERM ONLY dan tidak menggunakan MAGIC CARD (as Nur put it or others would call it credit card) yang magic nye hanya effective pada bulan ini sahaja kerana apabila bill nye dtg bulan depan magicnye pon ilang.

I pon went lah for a shopping free menggunakan cash and telah bought the following things (in this order)

 

 

Bobbi Brown Face Powder at ISetan (I have member card, so walaupon tak de discount, I got points!! Nanti2 ISetan bg la voucher, ehe)

 

 

 

 

 

T-Shirt utk kazen mazen. This ader 50% discount, so dua2 is RM 64, also kat Isetan.

 

 

 

 

 

Blusher Brush kt Body Shop. Damm mahal tp kadang2 aku malas nak pk. I’m using Body Shop nye Foundation Brush, oke aje, so pakai la Blusher Brush die plak :)

 

 

 

 

Purple blouse nie dah try since Jumaat lepas but tak sempat beli. Skali ader stock lagi la plak. So, masuk je G2000, amik size 34 and bayar. Done!

 

 

 

 

Splashproof Lash Mascara from M.A.C. Mascara nie pon already tested by me. I like it very much because die x clump, die adalah waterproof and die curl & lengthen lashes very effectively without being overdramatic. The last one tahan almost 2 years baru abess, so berbaloi la RM 52 aku.

 

In total, I’ve spent exactly RM 333.00. Kalau x caye, siler lah kire sendiri.

p/s: Esok sahur makan ikan masak kicap + sayur bayam goreng with bawang putih, bilis and carrot + sambal bilis (favret). Selamat berpuase~

The Day I Turned 25

21 August 2009 is the day i turned 25. It's a friday in a very hectic working week for me and it's the day before ramadhan.

6.15 am: Wake up and get ready for work
7.00 am: Get into car and saw surprise present from my love. Very funny & meaningful as always.
8.20 am: Arrived at workstation. Sampei lambat sbb tunggu my love unload barang from MyVi at KLCC. Boss ajak satu pojek team baca hadis, and then Ita bwk breakfast utk sme org that is nasi yg aku x tau namanye, kari kambing (aku makan kari die je, sbb tak makan kambing) and papedum.
9.30 am: Start doing real work.
1.30 pm: Nap kejap. Sgt la mengantuk oke.
2.20 pm: Bgn dari nap. Cuci2 muke sket. Skip lunch sbb dah bfast heavy and ptg ader meeting yg gerenti ader food.
2.30 pm: Start prepare utk pg meeting at Tower 1.
2.45 pm: Jalan pg KLCC
3.05 pm: Sampai kt Meeting Room 4006, PETT 1, KLCC. Ader marble cake and tea. Dah lapar, makan aje la ape yg ader. Still ngantuk lg, tp kna present plak tu. Layan ye la ape2 pon.
5.00 pm: Meeting abess. Yeay~ Seb baik right on the spot. Aku sudah sgt penat.
5.20 pm: Husband kate die blom siap nak balik lg. So haruslah visit Suria KLCC dulu. Pg amik fruit tartlets kat DeliFrance, masuk NafNaf (ader sweater cantik kaler pink & purple yg cantik disitu, price RM149) and masuk G2000 Women (ader blouse kaler purple yg cantik di situ, price RM 50).
6.00 pm: Kat dalam fitting room G2000 skali husband call daa lalu tak sempat membeli blause kaler purple yg berharga RM50 itu. Damm. Dah la tinggal sehelai je, gerenti kalau revisit on monday abess sudaa~
6.15 pm: In the car, heading back to Kajang
7.30 pm: Sampai rumah
8.15 pm: Dinner
9.30 pm: Pick mia up at KL Sentral
11.30 pm: Sampai rumah
1.00 am: tdo

That what happens on my bessday. Very tiring. But I feel younger and very content with my life! Thanks everybody for the wishes, thoughts and for being there throughout these years. Let's have a great year ahead! :)

Handmade Card – 3 presents on haphazard pink and black background.

 

I made this card for my ofis mate + project mate + Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Din (or if he spelled it in english it’s Dean). Din wanted to give this card to someone and we he saw the handmade card I made for Siti, he asked me to make one for him. He told me that the person getting it “ske pink, if that helps”. It does help indeed.

My initial ideas was to have a picture of a cake with lotsa candles on the front. Then I cancelled that, get some ideas by surfing the net and come out with this.

I used black, thick (i’m not sure of the weight) A4 paper. Used pink glitter A4 paper for the stripes background and I pasted the pink stripes haphazardly. I used coloured paper in solid red, glitter brown and solid orange for the present boxes. I outlined the present boxes using black Sharpie. Then I pasted gold and silver ribbons onto the present boxes and wrote ‘Happy Birthday’ on the lower right side. That is my handwriting!! :) I only pasted a red coloured paper inside the card and left it empty so Din can write anything he wants.

 

I should start taking orders, perhaps? Hehe..
