Ikan Tenggiri Kuah Lada

Hari ahad hari tu, I cooked this for lunch (and thus dinner). Aku nie jenis yg masak tgh hari makan sampai malam oke. Sbb masak itu leceh, oily and messy. I get into cooking because SKRANG IDUP DIRUMAH SENDIRI TANPA IBU UTK MASAKKAN FOOD2 YG BESS AND I LIKE AND I DUNNO NAK MAKAN APE AT KEDAI ANYMORE.

Ibu cakap lauk nie nama die kuah lada or kuah berlada. Tp sincerely i dont know where the name came from because dalam recipe takde sehelai pon cili or even sebutir pon lada itam or even lada putih diletakkan didalam masakan ini. Tapi takpelah. BAHAN-BAHAN

  • 1 ulas garlic
  • 3 biji shallots
  • Sedikit halia (ideally, tp aku x letak because i’m out halia so basically xde pon xpe)
  • 1 sudu besar bawang besar yg telah diblend
  • 2 sudu besar serbuk kari
  • 1 biji tomato (potong 6)
  • Air asam secukup rase (ibu kate x payah tp i letak jugak because i like!!)
  • Garam secukup rasa
  • Air
  • 2 keping ikan tenggiri (yg telah dibersihkan – pau dr umah ibu, hoho~)
  • 2 batang daun kari

METHODOLOGY

  • Mula2, panaskan minyak (standed).
  • Pastu, tumiskan shallot & garlic sampai naik bau.
  • Pastu masukkan bawang besar yg telah diblend and serbuk kari. Kalau ader halia, masukkan skali. Campak juga daun kari kedalam. Biar sampai garing.
  • Setelah garing, masukkan air. Aku tunggu sampai cam dah simmer baru masukkan ikan & tomato (supaya masam2 tomato tu rase la, that’s why letak awal2).
  • And then biarkan die sampai agak2 ikan tu dah masak. Kalau tak sure biler ikan tu nak masak, make sure pasang api kecik je and biar sampai menggelegak. Kalau in doubt jugak, potong je la ikan tu tgk dah masak ke tak kat dalam. hoho~
  • Sambil2 tunggu die masak tu, masukkanlah garam & air asam secukup rase. Kalau dah terlebeh rase campur air balik. Kalau nak pekat, biar la die thickens jap. Kalau tak, once die menggelegak, kire masak sudah la tu.

Warung Kita – KL Sentral

Last Thursday (jumaat tu cuti deepavali), husband and myself pg dinner kt Warung Kita @ KL Sentral.  Dah lame dah nampak kedai tu, so mase aku tgh membebel2 nak makan cni la, sana la, skali husband cakap, “Ader satu kedai nie, u cakap ngn i, u nak makan kat situ. Jom la makan ctu.” tp aku dah luper kedai ape. Berbagai2 nama kedai aku teka tp sme nye salah. Biler husband cakap Warung Kita kt KL Sentral tu, baru aku teringat. Happy sgt sampai melompat2 kt suria KLCC tu. Hoho~

Aku order nasi lemak ayam kampung and husband order nasi lemak daging rendang. Rase die takde lah exceptional tp xde la tak sedap. Kalau ajak pegi lagi aku pegi la. Die nye nasi lemak jenis yg ader kangkung goreng (aku ske!!). Ader org x bese makan nasi lemak camni.

Menu2 lain include kueh-mueh melayu, ader mee kari and segala bagai mee juga. Lain2 aku tak pasan la plak…

Harga…pricey sket la kot utk nasi lemak tp standed kot utk harga area KL neh.

Dalam banyak2 movie…

Aku nak tengok citer nie!!!

Iye. Aku nampak jugak kt poster tu die tulis this September. Well, “THIS SEPTEMBER” tu means movie nie kluar pada bulan September di negara-negara orang putih. In my country where most people berkulit sawo matang, die kluar 15 October oke.

Just now aku surf the net and baru la tertahu yang movie nie ialah an adaption from the book of the same name. Aci x aku nak baca buku neh, walaupon kat wikipedia cakap “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs is a children's book written by Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett” Note the word children and illustrated. Hoho~ tak kesah la.

p/s: dulu masa kecik2 ader satu buku citer nie die ader gambar rainbow and sampai skrang aku teringatkan rainbow tu sbb lukisan die cantik sangat.

Apsal McD plak??

This picture is from Google Map. Other than the frame and color of the picture, I didnt touch anything else in this picture.

The Tesco in that picture is Tesco Kajang which is located almost right in front my house (or my parents house, actually). So, my house must be in this map right?? It is actually. My house is the place marked as Mcdonald’s in this picture (and thus in google map). What the!!!

Feels like someone cam nak kenakan aku je. But, the most IT savvy person I know (which is my hubby) said that it’s not like anyone can edit the google map happily, freely or crazily. It’s as if my house has been registered as Mcdonald’s.

Agaknye sbb slalu sgt delivery sampai umah jadi McD (tapi slalu delivery pizza je). Or slalu sgt makan McD sampai umah pon kna mark as McD. But seriously, I dont like it. Macam labelling the family living here (which is MINE!!!) as makan McD 24/7 je.

If anyone have any idea how to remove this, please share. Rase humiliated la…

Farm Engineer!!!

Inilah jadinye biler engineer dah mula berladang!!

Yup, aku n some of my opismate skrang sme dah giler FarmVille. Not trying to promote the game or anything but we are crazy about it.

Sampai kan, Cik Eil (position sebenar, Structural Engineer) came out with this list (on the left), tanaman ape yg paling menguntungkan untuk di tanam dalam sehari assuming that u’ll monitor ur farm 24 hours a day and takde masa yg ilang utk menuai, plow and tanam semula.

As of right now, Cik Eil tgh mengupdate list nie utk consider assumption2 yg lebey realistic setelah berbincang dengan farm engineer yg lain.

Semangat x??

p/s: seres klaka because giler sgt men mende nie. Hahahaha~ aku pon bley tergelakkan diri sendiri. Tp main still main :)
