Karnival Keluarga PETRONAS 2009 (KKP 2009)

Smalam, nearly the whole day, my husband and I were at PERMATA in Bangi. Why? For the KKP 2009!! KKP nie is held every year. Die bermula dengan acara2 sukan such as Badminton, Chess, Golf, Futsal, Netball dan berbagai2 lagi yg diadakan among the various business units in PETRONAS. For this year, EXPRO is the winner for KKP!!! I belong to this business unit la. So bley la kata camni, Yeay!! Team aku menang!! (padahal x main ape2 pon. hari tu ingat nak try out for badminton, skali terlambat bgn la plak…hehe~ cakap aje x guna kan?? hoho~)

That morning, around 9.00 am lagi kitorg dah ader kat PERMATA. The event yang I was very keen to tengok ialah KKP Superstar, dimana two of my friends were among the five finalists.

 

Kawan2 aku tu ialah yg pakai baju ala2 punjabi ngn selendang tuh, EE dan the only girl in the top 5, Jieha. They finished at second and third place respectively. Dua2 mmg suara sgt bess and kalau nyanyi lagu ape2 pon mmg jadi lagu derang sendiri la. Seb baik they make it to the Top 5, sbb I missed the last 2 concerts and kalau derang terkeluar mase tu, sedey la sket. Hehe~ EE gediks hari tu tak confident nak masuk Superstar, skali dapat second place. :)

Banyak jugak other things kat PERMATA yesterday. Ader street soccer, arts booths (sand arts, face painting, etc. etc), Paintball, pastu bola besar that you can masuk inside and pusing2 (x tau nama sebenarnye), FOOD!! (of course!) and berbagai2 lagi la acara for the family. Tp the thing in the picture kat bawah nie mmg get my attention la.

HOT AIR BALLOON!!! Aku sangat kagum because it is SOOO BIG!! Macam budak kecik je kan? I was not really interested nak naik, just that sgt ske tgk sbb this thing is like sooo overwhelming and out of this world. Mase kitorg blah dari PERMATA around 12.00 pm tu dah xde dah mende nie, so kejap je derang pasang.

After that kitorg pg menguruskan hal2 umah sewa SIL (sister in law) kat Seri Kembangan cause ader new tenant nak masuk. Aku mmg ske pegi usha2 umah nie, so I took a look at the apartment. Die nye living room is kinda small, tp sbb die xde partition between living room, dining area and kitchen so that makes these three area looks ok la. Takde la sempit sgt. Tp the three rooms are huge utk standard apartment. Yang menyedihkan sket ialah, kat living room and dining room ialah lantai marble ok!! (which is so fab!!) tp sbb umah sewa kan, tenant mana kesah marble ke, cement ke, so cam dah rosak sket la marble flooring tuh. (ohhh…terpanjang la plak perenggan selingan nie)

Actually nak cakap that kitorg sampai rumah around 3.00 pm and malam tu kitorg pegi PERMATA balik for the GRAND FINALE!! You have to pay RM10 for the ticket that has to be bought beforehand sbb die tak jual mase the event. Once inside, ada booths food yang sgt banyak yg provide FREE FLOW OF FOOD. Ader segala bagai nasi goreng, nasi lemak, air tebu, keropok lekor, tortilla and macam2 lagi la. Yang pentingnye FREE FLOW oke!! Durian pon ader tp durian cam special sket la sbb kan beli kupon dulu. Aku pon x minat durian so I’m good.

Masa kitorg sampai, it was a lil bit past 8.00 pm and sudah sgt ramai org. So aku n husband redah segala bagai manusia tu, and bentangkan tikar kitorg like sgt dekat to the stage sbb kitorg datang was not for the food, but the performance. Husband for Shila OIAM and aku for Faizal Tahir (yg dari OIAM jugak la sebenarnye).

GRAND FINALE malam tu was hosted by Zizan and Johan, which makes it sgt2 lah hilarious. Kalau tak knal derang nie, nie la mereka yg sgt spontaneous and berbakat dlm membuat lawak.

 

Kitorg sat together with Mai n her husband. And because kitorg nie sgt lah dekat ngn stage, Jozan berdua nie pon turun dari stage datang kat tmpt kitorg n buat2 lawak pasal kitorg nie dok berkelah tepi pantai la and derang adalah free willy. Sengal! Aku tergamam sekejap masa tu. Hoho~

Pastu start la performance. Before artist2 jemputan kluar ader show dari KKP Superstar Winner and Runner Up (Kawan ku si EE tu) and then ader performance dr PPAG. Nampak la mak andeh and pak pandir yg hari tu mase musical jadi org kampung dulu2 skrang dah jadi org dari 60’s dok nyanyi lagu Pesta Muda Mudi tuh. (Ohhh…nak buat entri pasal Musical Pak Pandir la plak pasneh).

Pastu artist jemputan pon kluar la. Firstly, Shila duet ngn adik die. Then Shila nyanyi solo aje. Tannak letak gambar Shila sbb aku x minat sgt. Hahaha~ Then Faizal Tahir plak!! Yeay!! Exciter terlebey oke! Sgt ske lagu die and suara die. He performed 5 songs; Mahakarya Cinta, Cuba, Gemuruh (duet ngn si Jozan), Sampai Syurga and Bencinta. Sme aku record except Bencinta sbb aku x ske lagu tuh. Mmg ramai giler org datang depan stage masa Faizal Tahir perform sbb rupe2nye die nie klaka la jugak. So, enjoy la.

 

This is how close we were to the stage. Happening giler!! And after that ader Ramli Sarip and he performed with my unimate Aziah, sebagai wakil dari PETRONAS la. But aku x masuk sgt la ngn bunyi2 gitar electric yg over. Dengar mmg cam bess tp sakit telinga. Aku lagi ske Faizal Tahir. Pastu last2 ader closing ceremony and smenye berakhir and show bunga api yg sgt cantik!!! Aku x amik gambar / video bunga api tu sbb sgt leka mendongak and tengok bunga api.

So, that was how i spend my day yesterday. Hari nie apart from Fira datang umah, pegi jogging ptg nie (seresly rase fat n tak fit) and buat cross stich, xde la ape2 activity hari nie other than melepak. Kate weekend. :)

Letter to 16-year-old me

I was tagged by my cousin si Arelynn itu. Tag nie menarik la plak because it’s not about answering random questions about random things but instead writing a letter to 16-year-old you.

16 years old me, that is like 9 years ago. 16 years old me is a Form 4 student at SMKA Maahad Hamidiah Kajang. This is like being reminded and reliving that year when I was 16 (when it was sweet).

I bet you watched the F1 race last weekend right. Yeah2…your favourite driver tu bukannye menang pon kan? But die mesti looking handsome as ever. Eddie Irvine tu mmg sgt hot!!! Mesti ko ngn geng2 ko crazy giler la citer pasal F1 mase lunch. Rajin giler stayback, tp aku rase korg stayback asyik citer F1 la, Channel [V] la, bola la, study group sejarah je sket je. Sengal btol.

Good luck ye blaja Bahasa Arab Tinggi tuh. Kalau malas sgt, blaja cukup2 utk pass je cukup. Takyah la nak dpt A ke ape, janji tahu cukup. Tp jgn luper plak, ayah ko soh target masuk kelas 1 mase form 5 nanti. Hahaha~ Good luck la ye.

Ohhh…jangan lupe kumpul duit tau. Album baru Matchbox 20 dah nak kuar!!!

p/s: Makin bertambah2 koleksi kasut kau ye. Baru Form 4 je pon. Ko nak pegi mane ader kasut banyak2 tuh? hehe~

• Pastu mmg giler2 sgt bout F1. Meja kat skola ader pembalut plastic yg clear tu. Kat bwh plastic tu ader points for every race, every team and every driver. Pastu ader group picture of F1 drivers mase 1st race of that season kt melbourne. Pastu of course ader byk scribble aku kt ctu. aku mmg ske conteng2.
• This yr jugaklah aku start ske kasut and beli byk giler kasut.
• Ohhh…aku xde boyfriend mase high school. Aku rase sbb obsessed sgt ngn F1 drivers & boy band dr oversea kot. Hahaha~
• Aku ngn geng2 aku (Izzat, Wan, Ayun, C-lah, Nad kecik) slalu giler lepak after school (lepak kt skolah je pon) and citer F1. Kitorg buat study group sejarah, ader termasuk Justin Timberlake la n berbagai2 lagi boyband dalam sejarah dunia version kitorg. Haha~
• This is the year aku wakil skolah dlm Choral Speaking.

KL Sogo

I think, most people knows about Sogo KL, the shopping mall yang kalau sale mmg tak hengat nye la.

And as Sogo KL nie dekat Jalan TAR (dimana terdapat byk kedai2 menjual kain2 utk dibuat baju raya ke, baju kawen ke, mahal ader, murah pon ader, pastu slalu nye ader je promotion, tu x citer tudung2 lagi, brooches and kedai2 wedding preparations), maka bertambah2 lah lagi kemeriahan (or keramaian?) orang dictu.

Mase I was doing my wedding preparations about a year ago (wow! dah bukan pengantin baru lagi rupanye aku nie, rase cam baru je kawen), I was almost always shopping at Jalan TAR especially in the last few months before wedding. I went there with Ibu or my tunang at that time (which is my hubby now) and I bought kain utk baju nikah there, baju kenduri, baju bertandang, tempah cadar, tempah langsir, beli segala bagai labuci, manik, sprinkles utk buat bunga telur. Point is, i went there a lot.

When it's prayer time, kami slalunye solat kat Surau Sogo tu yg located at the topmost level of the parking lot. Suraunye kecik and as area tu asyik byk sale je, suraunye slalulah penuh. As far as i remember, setiap kali I went there mesti penuh nye la.

At a highly congested place, kecurian pon senanglah nak berlaku. Mase zaman2 I was shopping for my wedding preparations ngn ibu, ibu telah witness satu kecurian. Actually, ibu x perasan la wallet that girl kna curik just that mase wallet die ilang that girl tu tanye kat ibu "Kak, ader x nampak wallet saye tak". I'm not sure ape jawapan ibu, but that is Kecurian # 1 yang happens mase kami solat kat ctu.

Kecurian # 2 berlaku last saturday mase I was shopping with krina utk baju raye. Seb baik la krina tolong pegangkan my bag (dah la hari sabtu hari tu I used my big beach bag, kate nak sopping kan??). My thinking was bawak beg besar senang nak sumbat sme, and senang jugak la orang nak capai wallet. hehe~

I noticed this girl even before die sedar beg die ilang lagi. Muke die cam org jepun, so i tot die org jepun la. Skali tetibe mase aku nak solat, die nangis2 carik beg die. Kesian die sbb all her things were in her handbag including her hp. After that, ader la sorg kakak tu yg keje kat ctu and slalu solat kat surau sogo tu ckp kalau weekend mmg byk kes kecurian kat surau ladies tu.

So, biler pg solat kat surau sogo tu watchout la sket je ngn belongings sendiri. Mmg la ader org ckp "Alahai, aku kannye ader byk cash pon", tetapi dlm handbag / wallet tu ader IC and other official documents. Tu la yg sgt lecehnye.

Niat kite nak pg solat tu baik, tp niat org len kite tak tau. So just be careful. :)

Up and Down and Again

I took this video in my room on the work barge while I was offshore doing some installation work earlier this year.

I'm sorry if I dissapoint you but this is not a scary video about a haunted room, where the ghost is super annoying and move your empty mineral water bottle around the room in bright light. At least wait la until it's dark kalau nak move things around pon right? Hehe~

You won't jump out of your seat by watching this video because there will be no random-screaming-creepy-looking-creature at the end of an almost silent and calming video.

The empty bottle moved because the barge was swayed by big waves. I just wanted to remember how bad it was on the barge. I have some more videos, but i don't know if you can rotate a video because if I upload those other video you will have to view it sideways.

Mee Sanggul Goreng

Hari ahad hari tu, i’ve cooked mee sanggul goreng. Actually, same je cam mee goreng biase, tp guna mee sanggul. Ibu kate mee sanggul tu mcm mee telur. Aku pon x tau la ape bezanya, but for those yg nak tau kt bawah nie ialah gambar mee sanggul yg i used for the mee sanggul goreng hari tu.

Aku dapat resipi nie dari kakak ipar, tp aku dah alter ikut ske hati aku n husband.

Bahan-bahan (nie adalah utk dua orang makan je tau)

1. 3 pieces of mee sanggul (satu paket ader 5)
2. udang (dlm 15 ekor, aku buang kulit udang neh)
3. bawang putih (aku guna 3 ulas tp aku rase tak cukup, so i suggest byk lg la but then aku ske rase bwg putih)
4. sos tiram, air asam jawa, garam, gula (ini adalah sme ikut secukup rase)
5. 1.5 sudu besar cili boh (pedas nye ngam2 je, nice)
6. 1 cili merah (dihiris)
7. sket kobis n carrot (so ader la lauk pauk sket mee tuh, resipi kakak ipar call for sawi n taugeh but husband ske sayur ‘omputih’ so aku tukar je la, bess je)

Cara-Cara

1. Celur mee sanggul itu ngn air yg baru lepas mendidih. Kat paket tulis for 3 mins, tp aku buat lama sket. Jgn bagi lembut sgt sbb nnti nak goreng letak air lg, takut over lembik plak.
2. Letak sket minyak dlm kuali, tumis bawang sampai die caramelized (golden la tu, naik bau kate org)
3. Masukkan cili boh, biar sampai garing (jgn hangit sudaa)
4. Pastu masukkan udang ngn carrot. Gaul2 sket then masukkan air and air asam jawa (sket je tau, kalau nak lagi tambah later).
5. Biler udang tu cam dah masak, masukkan mee.
6. Gaul2 dan tibalah masa utk masukkan sos tiram, garam and gula secukup rasa (nie part dlm memasak yg paling aku x ske sbb aku x pandai rase)
7. Biler dah berpuas hati, last skali masukkan kobis ngn cili. Gaul2kan sket supaya serata and walla! dinner is ready!!

 

p/s: nie pon byk utk kitorg ber2. aku bwk bekal pg ofis esok hari nye :)

Tertipuke?

When I am at the office, then most probably I’ll be logged on to my YM all day.

When there’s a new mail, I’ll get a notification.

Usually, I take no notice of the e-mails as they are mostly spams. Suddenly today I decided to open one friendster blog update e-mail because as I happen to be in the mood to blog-hop.

I clicked on the link, and yes I was directed to the blog but it was last updated in August 2008. What the *$#% !!!

Mmg derang nie saje nak spam kot. I tot they e-mailed when there are really updates from your friends, rupenye men tenyeh je e-mail. Or is this a one time mistake?? Hrmm…

p/s : apeka bising2 hon kat bawah tu. apeka bising2 cakap kuat2 kt ofis nie (hahaha~ slalunye aku la tu, tp dak2 nie xde la plak so senyap sket)
